Recent research suggests design pre-patterns, structured collections of evidence-based research and design knowledge, provide a useful resource for design in emerging application domains. This paper extends Previous research to assess the impact of the models pre and tools to support the pre-exploration model for the domain ubiquitous computing in the home.
